$32.5-Million Henderson Mansion Holds The High-Water Mark In Las Vegas

Real Estate

Every community has that one residence for sale that establishes the listing price high bar.

In the Las Vegas area, the spot of honor goes to a Henderson mansion priced at $32.5 million. But the modern estate also sets another standard.

Built in 2017 for the founder of a tech automation company, the soaring 14,207-square-foot three-story dwelling is – not surprisingly – a showcase of smart home technology.

Throughout are high-tech amenities including custom full-spectrum LED lighting, 32 security cameras, biometric scan entries and home automation control systems.

Thirteen integrated motorized door systems connect the high-ceiling interiors to an additional 10,000 square feet of outdoor covered space. Other amenities include more than 20,000 square feet of heated indoor and outdoor tile flooring, high-fidelity music distribution and 32 video displays. Powering all that technology are some 300 solar panels.

To enter the estate, gates at the driveway access a circular motor court. A variety of arched roofs of differing heights and vast expanses of windows give a futurist appearance to the house, which centers on a glass elevator approached from an interior garden and waterfall wall. A floating staircase surrounds the elevator.

The first floor contains the living room, a wet bar, the family room and dining spaces. The indoor kitchen features a 14-foot cantilevered island, state-of-the-art Wolf appliances and a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer. There’s another in the pantry. The outdoor kitchen has such features as a teppanyaki grill, an ice cream machine and a pizza oven.

The vaulted-ceiling lounge contains a bar, four screens and room enough for several gaming tables. A glass display wall anchors one side of the wine tasting room. The home movie theater can seat 13.

There are four bedrooms, nine bathrooms, 10 fireplaces, multiple bars, a two-story rock climbing wall, a gym, an indoor basketball court, a dog spa and a nine-hole miniature golf course.

A fountain-fed infinity pool with a built-in bar, a retractable TV and a fire element takes in skyline views of Las Vegas and the mountains beyond.

The three climate-controlled garages can house up to 12 vehicles. A car lift connects to the second-floor owner’s suite – no going downstairs to get into a vehicle.
