Montage Hotels & Resorts, the luxury hotel and resort management company, is opening a new resort with a hotel and residences in Healdsburg, California. Located in the heart of Sonoma’s wine country, Montage Healdsburg will be ideal for a vacation or a second home while its spectacular vineyard setting is a perfect location for weddings and other special events.

Currently under construction and scheduled to open in November 2020, Montage Healdsburg will feature 130 bungalow-style guest rooms, as well as private luxury residences on 258 acres that include 14 acres of planted vineyards. The contemporary-style architecture will feature floor-to-ceiling glass walls with rooms bathed in natural light with spectacular views of the landscape surrounding it, including vineyards, historic groves and vine-covered hills.

“Montage Healdsburg is truly unlike anything else in Sonoma County, bringing a long-awaited ultra-luxury wine country retreat to the region,” says Allen Highfield, general manager of Montage Healdsburg. “Situated on 258 acres of rolling vineyards and oak tree groves, the resort is naturally designed for social distancing. The idea was to build within the constraints of the natural landscape and not move nature to build, resulting in a design that authentically shows off the scenic beauty of Northern California’s Sonoma wine country all while featuring the renowned hospitality, charm and amenities Montage is known for.”
